The New Nanyang concept

Heritage food, built for everyday trade

New Nanyang serves the food of the Nanyang table — kopi and kaya toast, Nyonya curries, laksa and mee siam, and Hainanese western classics — in a clean, contemporary format.

The menu covers breakfast through dinner, with set meals that pair food and traditional drinks. It is a concept with broad, everyday appeal rather than a niche or trend-led offering.

Franchise investment

Clear terms, discussed properly

Investment requirements and commercial terms depend on outlet format, location and the scope of support. Details are discussed with qualified prospective partners.

We do not publish fees, investment figures or projected returns. Any figures shared during discussions will be estimates for your own evaluation, and we encourage every prospective partner to obtain independent financial and legal advice.

Frequently asked questions

Before you enquire

Do I need F&B experience?

Not necessarily. Prior experience is helpful, but what matters most is your willingness to learn and to be involved in the business. Experience requirements for each format are assessed during the qualification discussion.

Can I be a passive investor?

F&B outlets generally need hands-on management. Whether a passive or semi-passive arrangement is possible depends on the format and on having a capable operator in place; this is assessed during consultation.

How much capital is required?

Investment requirements depend on outlet format, location, fit-out and the scope of support. We do not publish figures because they vary significantly; details are discussed with qualified prospective partners.

Can I propose my own location?

Yes. You are welcome to propose a site. We will evaluate it with you for catchment, rental, layout suitability and format fit before any commitment is made.

What training is available?

Training for owner-operators and key staff is part of the proposed programme. The exact scope and duration are being finalised and will be set out in the franchise agreement.

Are there overseas opportunities?

Our current focus is Singapore. Overseas enquiries are welcome and are assessed case by case during consultation.

What is the expected opening timeline?

Timelines depend on site availability, approvals, fit-out and recruitment. A realistic timeline is agreed during the evaluation stage rather than promised in advance.
